Happy St. Patrick's Day To Ya Me Wee lil lovlies!!

Yes, Yes, I know that it takes me absolutely FOREVER to update-- sorry guys!!! Life is good, but crazy busy.. I'm in the pit orchestra playing the violin for the school play Damn Yankees.  So between 4 hour practices, 7 3-1/2 hour long performances, field trips, tests, quizes, homework, and projects, I have had absolutely NO, as in N-O time for anything other than those unfortunately.. I've become so exhausted, its not funny how out of it i am, but hopefully i'll catch up on a lil bit of sleep sometime soon! lol... I feel bad- i havent even had much time to be with Joe.. BUT!!!! We did get to go to his Military Ball on Saturday the 11th.  It was great.. I'll try and get pictures to work on here sometime soon!!! I loved my dress...and he looked so cute in his uniform.. and of course, bc life loves to be complicating for me-- my shoe broke right as we got to the Ball room door!!! How lovely, i know! lol But it was okay- his teacher fixed it with gigantar staples! lol
So- Other than tons of random lil mishaps and running around like a chicken with its head cut off in a white tuxedo-- I've been great.  At least I'm doing something with life and enjoying every exhausted minute of it!!!

Sadly this month, however, there have been 3 deaths within the church that were beautiful people that I myself was not personally close with them, but was somehow indirectly associated with them. There was: Bethany, only 19, just married, a friend's sister, and 3 months pregnant- a tragic car accident; Robin Williams, 29, married, 3 small boys, loved the Lord and touched everyone who heard of her, even me, she was my sister's friend- Brain cancer;  Mr. Johnson, in his 40's, my dear friend's daddy...2 children, married- sudden massive heart attack.  May they be happy in heaven, and may their families be kept in our prayers and heart.

All of this has helped me realize something.  We, as the human race, especially as youth, live our lives everyday as if we have years.  In fact- we never know when God's plan will take us home.  So- here a go- Alli's life lesson number 5672.4:  the good ole cliche of Live everyday like its your last...someone said that for a reason- bc its true. we should live that way-- dont spend your days hating someone, dont spend your time being angry, dont spend your time saying "ill tell them tomorrow" because the fact is you dont know when tomorrow is. You dont know if tomorrow will even come for you or for someone else.  So- a rule of thumb my family has always used- kiss, hug and tell everyone you love them b4 you leave, hang up the phone, end an email, sign off aim, something...Just let them know.  Because God has a huge plan for us all, but we dont know how long that huge plan is.  Unfortunately for the families, these three beautiful people were amazing enough to have finished God's plan early in life...We're not to question God's motives or meanings, just accept it and move on.  God is great, and because of his love, if you trust in Him and His son, Our Savior, we'll see each other again someday.  Death is not a tragedy-- Its a graduation, going from this earth to God's glory.  For Christians, its the ultimate goal- bc in reality we live everyday striving to die in order to spend eternity with our Father...so dont cry for your own loss, rejoice in the past's accomplishment....
In saying that- I love you all... Thank you for your friendships.  Your are all my inspirations, what keeps me going through my days....May God bless you and keep you safe.
With all the loving prayers one can give-

Grace Like Rain

Hey!! Okay, wow, Yeah it's definitely been way too long since I last updated...Okay, so I've really busy lately with school and stuff and junk..Sorry.. Wellll, as always, life is great... Joe and I have been together for over two months now, and might I just say that I couldn't be happier!!  see?! lol hmm so it was really sad yesterday because we got our stuff to start registering for our senior year, and i'm lookin, trying to pick my classes, and then it hits me, the classes that i pick will be the last classes i ever take in high school..man, we've grown up so fast, it was just 5th grade back at Brown Elementary...yup, Good ol' Hilliard!! ("representin! dawwwgggg"..okay, so i tried, i'm def. not ghetto!! lol) But I started lookin back over the years, and the past 2 have been some of the greatest..as much as i miss my Darby friends, i wouldnt trade moving down here for anything because of the new friends that i've made..I've written about this before, but i'll say it again, and until the day i die, God's blessed me with amazing friends...here and at home.. but through my friends, who have been my accountability partners, He's shown me how to grow stronger and closer to Him every day...and so i thank you all for allowing God to work through you to guide me... See...it just goes to prove that no matter how lil you think you make an impact, you make a bigger one than you can imagine...so i chanellenge you and everyone you know, to start reaching out to everyone you lay eyes on...forget your enemies and the past that keeps you apart, and become friends with everyone...You never know when asking someone whose by theirself to eat lunch with you will save their lives...they might be ready to give on hope and life and faith, and a simple smile or act of kindness can bring them joy in more way than 12...(yes that's right, lol, 12), and not only do you bring just that person and yourself joy by showing kindness, you bring God joy..because He tells to never stop being kind and showing love towards everyone..So--it's up to you to decide how many lives you want to make a difference in...
Okay..so now that ive done my bidding on kindness and the amazing way God puts people in your life for a reason....How are you? I hope all is well... so leave me LOTS of lovin down there in the comment box, and keep livin it up for faith. God bless....and He will.(if you let Him.)
All my loving Prayers----

Song Title: Grace like rain lyrics

Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see so clearly

Hallelujah, grace like rain falls down on me
Hallelujah, all my stains are washed away, washed away

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

[Chorus]

When we've been there ten thousand years
Bright shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing Your praise
Than when we first begun

[Chorus]

[Chorus]

Hey everyone!! Thanks so much for all your prayers and encouraging words... My surgery went well. I woke up in the middle of it tho. i was awake for probably the last 10 or so minutes.. i could feel and hear everything they were doing to me.. that was kinda freaky! And then the numbing stuff wore off too...so before i left, the shot some more into my gums..omg that hurt... but the pain killers make me loopy... really reallly loopy... they give me energy and then 30 minutes giggle spells with crazy odd things to say. lol but then they put me to sleep for a lil while, and then it all starts over! lol so it was actually a fun day. i havent had much pain. a little discomfort, but not much pain... so thats good.
Wow.. so lifes been so crazy busy lately... ive been hanging out with Joe alot, as much as i possibly can...ive been workin on school stuff so much lately, especially with exams comin up...and then of course, ive been trying to keep God, church and my service there at the top of my prioriety list... which in turn has given me a couple of very much needed checks for the Christmas season!! (its from where i work the child care at church. omg, its so much fun... i'd do it even if i didnt get paid. its jsut an extra bonus to me.)
O! And now that i mentioned it...whats with this new controversy about its politically incorrect to say "Merry Christmas" now, it should be "Happy Holidays."  thats crap. im sorry, but it is... the whole meaning of Christmas is about CHRIST!!! This just goes to show how incredibly and dangerously close our country and world are getting to eliminating God from everything... and it scares me to think of how He's going to get our attention... as Christians, we need to step it up... we need to say to everyone we see, very loudly,  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  If they use the phrase happy holidays, take it as an opportunity to witness to them by reminding them about the true meaning of Christmas, and about all of the wonderful things our Father has done for us... this is a Christian's chance to get some work going on for God right now, and we'd be wise to take it... So i encourage you, this CHRISTmas season, reach out, do something to share God's love, and then do even more to share God's truth and story.  Great rewards will come to you in doing so.... Just remember that boldness is speaking up when God shows up.. and I feel like this controversy is His way of showing up. So be bold for change... mix it up a bit...do the work our Father is calling us to do.
I pray that this season, you all stay safe!!! Be good... Rememeber the "reason for the season"... I love you all... Hugs, kisses, and love.... :) God bless...

Okay... what's up everyone!!! How's it goin? Wow. Cant believe i've been going for so long without updating.   But, o well! lol
So the latest with me:  staying extremely busy with school...fighting with my history teacher, in dyer need of a better grade... i got my first c ever on a report card...  i hope i can get it up by the end of this 6 weeks! wish me luck...   Hmm..what else is new... i've got a boyfriend. His name is Joe. He's great. God's teaching me patience and faith...once again...my mom has been the testor..for those of you who know my stories, you'll understand.  She's just not that thrilled with me growing up, so in turn, she's lashing out at me. but i've tried my best to account with my friends about it, and pray for God to give her and my dad (whose also having a tough time with it) faith and strength in letting go a lil.  So it's been interesting, but its all turning out great!
We has a revival a few weeks ago at church, that was so much fun. One of my friend's got saved... that was really neat to see the change.
So ive also been learning from God that what other people think isn't always that important.  God has been revealing to me and those around me His plans for our lives. And in doing so, He's made us all very excited to get everything under way, but our families and some of our friends arent so accepting.  They feel that we should do something else, something to make us famous, or lots of money, or just do nothing at all and marry rich, or something of the sort.  but the longer I, we, listen to their words of retaliation, it only makes ur long to learn more of His plan.  I know what He's going to have me do with my life, but some people show resistence, alot of it, when told about. and it hurts my heart because i yearn for them to share in my excitement. still, God's shown me that as long as i have faith in His plan for me, it doesnt matter what others think.  So i encourage you, if God has shown you something in your life, go for it. pray to know that its truly what God has planned and not just what you have planned, and then, when you are instilled with the excitment and assurance that you need, share it with everyone, and let no one stop you.. seek faithfully and fully with all your heart, and i promise, the rewards returned to you from God will be more than you can imagine.
So, now that i've given my daily shpeal.. Happy one day late thankgiving... have a safe and happy break, and of course, you know i love you!!!!!!!!!  God bless.
